Professor of cardiac surgery, scientist, innovator. Head of the Cardiac Surgery Clinic of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration in Warsaw and professor at the Center for Postgraduate Medical Education. President of the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS). Chairman-elect of the Cardiac Surgery Section of the Polish Society of Cardiology. Member of, among others: Nucleus Cardiovascular Working Group European Society of Cardiology, New Technology Committee European Society for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Guideline Committee European Society for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery. Deputy editor-in-chief of the American medical journal “INNOVATIONS”. Author of over 250 publications in respected scientific journals around the world. He received several awards for his scientific works at conferences of scientific societies. Together with the team of his clinic, he is the winner of the TERAZ POLSKA award for cardiac surgery treatment using minimally invasive techniques. He also received the Gold Medal of the Polish Academy of Success.
