About the AtriClamp system
AtriClamp is an innovative clip designed to close the left atrial appendage (LAAO), aiming to minimize the risk of stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation. The product consists of a clip and a dedicated applicator. The clip is applied to the left atrial appendage, which is mechanically and electrically isolated from the atrium in the procedure. Effective closure of the left atrial appendage reduces the risk of stroke by preventing the formation and movement of thrombi that could lead to stroke.
