III. LEGAL BASIS

In the process of processing personal data, the Administrator applies the principles set out in the applicable legal regulations, in particular in the Act of 29 August 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data or in the Regulations of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (”GDPR”).

IV. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING AND RETENTION PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA

The Administrator processes personal data exclusively for the purpose of acquiring customers/suppliers, the implementation of sales promotion processes, order/contract and post-sales service of offered goods and services, and for the purpose of sending personalized commercial information, in particular for the purpose of:

  • creation of an account in the internet service
  • personal contact, telephone or email
  • transmission of ordered information, advertising and offers
  • execution of an order/contract
  • service of a complaint or a service request
  • post-sales service
  • presentation and publication of information on scientific, research, development and expert activities
  • possible recourse
  • adjustment of the internet services to the needs of the Users,
  • creation of reports and analyses concerning the functionality of the Services, including statistics on the number of visits

These data will be stored for the period necessary to fulfill the contracts, including the provision of service contracts (warranty and post-warranty services). After this period, the data is stored exclusively for the purpose of pursuing claims and sending personalized commercial information.

V. SCOPE AND METHOD OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

The Administrator collects personal data in the process of acquiring a customer/supplier, sales promotion, order/contract execution and post-sales service of offered goods and services. The Administrator collects data including, inter alia: first and last name of a natural person (including a person conducting business activity), their address, NIP, first and last name of a contact person in the company, their position, department, email and phone number, and in the case of using the Administrator's internet services also the IP address of the device from which the User accesses the Administrator's services. The data is stored by the Administrator in a format that allows for their transfer.

Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for using selected functionalities of the internet services and for sending offers, order/contract execution, service contracts, installation services, etc.

The transfer or other type of transfer of personal data obtained, to persons or companies other than the Administrator, does not occur, unless such data are necessary for the proper execution of the contract, consideration of complaints or repairs under the warranty or guarantee or the sending of a catalogue by traditional mail. This concerns, in particular, transport companies, forwarding companies, courier companies, installation companies and service companies.

The Administrator also declares that it entrusts the storage and/or processing of personal data, as referred to in the Privacy Policy, on the basis of a written agreement, to service providers on behalf of the Administrator, including, inter alia, hosting services, automated marketing and optimization of communication in the scope of the Administrator's internet services.

Notwithstanding the above, in the case of a separate consent expressed by the User of the Service, his personal data are processed for the purpose of receiving commercial information, in particular by sending to the specified email address of the ordered newsletter.

VI. DATA COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

The Administrator informs that when using the Services belonging to it, data are also collected automatically. These data may be collected by Cookies and by an automated marketing system.

The Administrator informs that from the moment the User connects to the Service in the system logs of the Service, information is provided, inter alia, on the IP number and the type of the end device of the User, from which the User connects to the Service. The Administrator informs that, according to the law, it also processes data concerning, inter alia, the IP number and the type of the end device of the User, as well as the time of the User's connection to the Service and other operational data concerning the User's activity in the Service. The described data are processed for technical purposes in order to adapt the Service to the needs of the Users and to collect general statistical information concerning the functioning of the Service.

The Administrator uses cookies for the purpose of:

  1. configuration of the service: adaptation of the content of the website of the Service to the preferences of the User and optimization of the use of the website of the Service; recognition of the User's device and its location and appropriately displaying the website adapted to his individual needs; storing the settings chosen by the User and personalizing the User's interface, e.g. in the scope of the selected language or region from which the User comes; storing the history of visited pages in the Service in order to recommend content
  2. realization of processes necessary for the full functionality of the website - adaptation of the content of the website of the Service to the preferences of the User and optimization of the use of the website of the Service. The User can delete cookies at any time using the functions available in the internet browser used. Limiting the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the website of the Service.

VII. RIGHT TO DATA, THEIR CORRECTION, DELETION OR LIMITATION OF PROCESSING OR TO LODGING A COMPLAINT AGAINST PROCESSING, AS WELL AS THE RIGHT TO TRANSFER DATA

Every person whose personal data is collected can request from the Administrator:

  • access to their personal data
  • rectification (correction) of their personal data
  • erasure of their personal data
  • restriction of processing of their personal data
  • portability of their personal data
  • objection to the processing of their personal data

Furthermore, every person whose personal data is collected can object to the processing of personal data, in particular in the scope of profiling of the Users of the internet services. To exercise the above rights, please contact the Administrator by email: biuro@medinice.pl . The Administrator will respond to the request of the person whose data is collected within 30 days. This period may be extended to 90 days in justified cases. However, it should be noted that the deletion, limitation, transfer or objection to the processing of data will have an impact on the services provided and may result in the inability to perform them. In particular, it does not apply in the case of obligations that have been legally concluded due to legal requirements, in particular in the context of pursuing claims.

In the case where the Administrator of data requests the expression of consent for the transmission of commercial information by electronic means, the person who expressed the consent is entitled to its withdrawal. VIII. SECURITY OF DATA

The Administrator of data declares that it makes all efforts to ensure that the Clients have a high level of security in the processing of their data. All events having an impact on the security of data processing should be reported to the email address: biuro@medinice.pl .

The Administrator of data reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy by publishing a new privacy policy on this page.
